12.30 - This looks like a good opportunity for The Magic Of Rio to get back to winning ways with the waters only muddied by the entry of the debutant Consequence. The Magic Of Rio was in good form in the summer with a couple of back to back wins, all over the minimum trip.

Last time out she was a little disappointing as she was awkward leaving the stalls and slowly into her stride. Once racing in mid-field she was ridden 2f out but could only manage one pace and was beaten by a full 6l. She looked to have strong claims prior to the race but simply did not show up on the day. She is certainly better than that performance and is worth another try.
