On Thursday night April 21, thirty female poker players battled it out in the Betfair Poker Ladies Night Live final held at the Sportsman Club in London’s swanky Mayfair.

This event was the culmination of a month of online tournaments and promotions as Betfair Poker searched for the Betfair Poker Goddess.

The players had a diversity of experience from professionals to first-timers. But one thing was universal; this event was certainly a well dressed and glamorous affair.

PokerPlayer’s own Elaine dela Cruz was in it to win it, and made the final table, but was unable to capitalise as her 8-8 was shot down by the eventual winner's A-K.
