Without a doubt the Ladbrokes.com Poker Million will be the biggest tournament in Europe this year. There is still a buzz surrounding last year’s tournament in which online qualifier Tony Jones scooped the first place prize of $1 million, and TV presenter Helen Chamberlain grabbed second.

As is the way with top flight poker tournaments this year’s version will be bigger and better with $4,120,000 on offer to the 72 players.

It’s not for nothing that we have named the Ladbrokes Million in our top 10 tournaments in the world in 2006. Televised by Sky Sports in the UK, it’s due to be played in December later this year.
