US internet qualifier from Colorado Reuben Peters denies Annette Obrestad EPT title in Dublin and wins €532,620

Internet qualifier Reuben Peters from Colorado, USA, has won the PokerStars European Poker Tour Dublin title - and more than €500,000 - after beating Annette Obrestad, the teenage phenomenon from Norway in the heads-up end game.

Peters successfully overturned a massive chip lead against Obrestad, 19, who won £1m at the World Series of Poker Europe in September.

The 45-year-old stock trader - "seaanchor" online - is a regular PokerStars qualifier and has won several seats at the PCA and the WSOP. Obrestad, known online as "Annette_15", was the youngest ever WSOP bracelet winner in September.
