Poker and pubs are a match made in heaven, and taking advantage of new legislation that has come into effect, Ladbrokespoker.com has announced details of its new online Pub Poker Championship.

Registration is open up until 28 October and the championship will see players represent their local 'public house' in a series of online poker tournaments, earning points and prizes for themselves and the venue.

Players will represent their chosen pub in a series of five online tournaments on Ladbrokes' poker website with 20 finalists advancing to a live grand final. The pub with the most points at the end of the Championship will win a trophy and a VIP celebrity tournament in their pub.
