After narrowly missing out on FA Cup glory at the weekend with plucky West Ham, ‘Steady’ Teddy Sherringham has signed for Victor Chandler Poker.

The striker, who is only the second outfield player to play at the top level in the UK beyond the age of 40, will become the official Ambassador for the VC Poker brand.

Perhaps with an eye on retirement from football, Sherringham will play both online and live for the poker company in a series of tournaments that will promote the site.

Throughout the year, Teddy will be making several appearances where you will get the chance to pit your wits against his in a number of special tournaments exclusive to VC Poker.
