Surprise $1.2m Ladbrokes Poker Million V winner Rajesh Modha will be playing in a celebratory Ladbrokespoker.com tournament this Friday at 8.20pm. The special online tournament will follow a $1000 charity heads up between Raj and last year's Poker Million winner Tony Jones.

Players will have the chance to emulate Raj's route to victory, by buying in to the tournament for $9 (Raj's PMV buy-in) before playing to win an amazing first prize of a $15,000 WSOP package to join Raj and the rest of the Ladbrokes poker team in Las Vegas in 2007 to compete in the World Series of Poker.

Raj, a 44 year old nuclear pharmacist won the prestigious Poker Million V title previously held by heavyweight poker players Donnecha O'Dea, John Duthie, Snooker pro Jimmy White and last year's freeroll winner (Ladbrokespoker.com complimentary entry) Tony Jones.

He went into the semi finals as a 22-1 rank outsider, but that didn't deter him as he took down a field of poker pros including Ram 'Crazy Horse' Vaswani in his semi-final heat and poker ace Mel Judah on the final table.

'Foggy71' as he's known on Ladbrokespoker.com qualified for Poker Million V back in April and was one of 72 poker enthusiasts who made it through a field of over 25,000 players to play in the televised stages of the competition. The father of three has been playing poker now for just over a year and plays regularly on Ladbrokespoker.com.

On the night, Raj will have to fight off hoardes of pretenders to the throne, wanting to claim the $1000 bounty placed on his newly crowned Poker Million V head.
