Poker Life: Betfair Grand Prix

Betfair Grand Prix IV
Freeroll 5

Grand Prix IV Freeroll 5 attracted 542 runners, eight PokerPlayers, and was won by PeteBlow

Forget Super Sunday, it was Deepstack Sunday in the Fourth Betfair Grand Prix with a total of 542 runners sitting down at the earlier kick-off time of 4pm, each with a whopping 5,000 chips in front of them.

It was time for some serious poker, with double points available for taking part, bounties, finishing positions, and of course the big one, PokerPlayer Mini-League points.

The lure of double points in Freeroll 5 attracted eight PokerPlayers, and some notable performances (for once).

HillyFish was the first departure, in 415th position, perhaps still suffering a (literal) hangover from exploits in midweek that saw him dealing a game at the Loose Cannon Club, before dealing with two bottles of sambuca.
