HOW TO RESTEAL LATE IN A TOURNAMENT

Maintaining a healthy stack once you reach the money is about stealing and restealing effectively

1.

1 You are in the small blind holding 65. There are 36 players remaining and the blinds are at 2,000/4,000. You have 62,000 chips. The action is folded round to a player in the cut-off with a 115,000 stack who raises to 10,000.

2.

2 The button folds and the action passes to you. You have noticed the cut-off raise at least once a round from late position and re-raise a few limped pots. You decide it’s the right time to resteal and move all-in.

3.

3 The big blind quickly folds. The cut-off thinks for a short while before finally folding. You add a tidy 14,000 extra chips to your stack.
